Made from woven mesh wire, and taking shape of an open-ended sleeve/ stocking, the cable sock is usually used for the replacement of wire rope or cable.
With one end connected to the new wire rope and the other end connected to the old wire rope, the old wire rope is then replaced through the rotation of the crane or hoist.
Other usages include protection of wire ropes, cables, hose, pipe, and etc...
This product is available to fit wire-rope diameter from 8 to 50mm.
